**** good cover but the Jose Feliciano original is so better and with more Soul.
The TRUE STORY OF CHE SARA by writer Jimmi Fontana speak clearly about this song was write FOR Jose Feliciano under request by RCA italian manager for get him at italian Sanremo festival where any song was sung by 2 different artist: so FIRST artist was the international star and personal friend of Jimmi Fontana: Jose Feliciano, the second RCA artist was called italian famous singer Gianni Morandi but He at last decided to not goes in Sanremo that year against Jose Feliciano, Jimmi Fontana says He hope to sing him his song but RCA managers at last decided to call his new band under contract Ricchi e Poveri instead Jimmi Fontana and Gianni Morandi. So the first choice from Rca to sing it was Jose and AFTER they choice Ricchi e Poveri. In fact Jose recorded HIS version in summer 1970 in Los Angeles (Jimmi Fontana was at Rca Studios in Los Angeles how he says) and Jose recorded contemporary 3 version: "Che Sarà" in Italian, "Que Sera" in spanish and "Shake a Hand" in english: both versions was launched in market after Sanremo 1971 in march and both versions goes at top of the charts in differents countries around the world. Italian version in Italy and middle Europe just to Asia and Japan, Spanish version was a megaHit in Spain and all centre/south America, English version was at top ten in Scandinavian countries included Denmark
The first singer in Sanremo is Jose Feliciano! Not Ricchi e povero. Che Sara was an italian song write from Jimmy Fontana (friend of Jose Felician) under request by RCA FOR Jose Feliciano and get him in Sanremo! The second singer in first idea were just Jimmy Fontana or Gianni Morandi but RCA in SECOND TIME decided to get Ricchi e Poveri in Sanremo like second singers of Che Sara AFTER Jose Feliciano. So were Ricchi e Poveri to make a cover of the song and Jose Feliciano was the FIRST artist for Che Sara.
