Zu Tode gelangweilt bin ich hier nun wahrlich nicht, das wäre zu hart formuliert. Wünschenswert hätte ich es aber dennoch gefunden, wenn nach den vielen Jahren, in denen ich von der Band nichts mehr Neues wahrgenommen habe, ein bisschen was Mutigeres und Ungewöhnlicheres gekommen wäre. So einfach solide.

Although they've changed band members, this new sound from them is fairly decent. Of course, nothing on their late '90s material, but for this day and age, it is certainly well above average.

The verses sound like they fit with Blink 182 songs from the late '90s, while the chorus is more mid '00s material from other bands, but both aspects work for me. I thought this would either be a wildly strange new 2016ish sound from them, or a tired retread of their older material, so I'm surprised, but I like this.

Blink 182 are one of, if not my favourite, band from my childhood, so I'm always going to have that soft spot for them, even if they're not "technically" the best band out there.<br><br>What I like best about them was the energy that they bring to their songs. This really made up for a lot of other deficiencies they may have had.<br><br>As a result of this, I like this. When I hear that guitar, which is quintessentially Blink 182 (I'm not confusing that sound with any other artist), I just get that rush of nostalgia. It reminds me of their 90s output the most, even if it doesn't reach the heights some songs from that era do.

Ein paar Teenagern und Leuten, die mit dieser Gruppe gross geworden sind, wird vorliegendes Pop Punk (Rock)-Stück wohl besser gefallen als mir, ab dem kommenden 2016er Album California, abgerundete 3*…

To be fair, I didn't expect Blink 182 would return with a song this good, considering how big a loss Tom DeLonge was. Their best since the Enema of the State days.

tbh I would actually be bored to death if the charts were still filled with this sound. It was good for its time, but this does absolutely nothing for me now.
