As a general rule, hearing the phrase 'dance version of older hit' is enough to make me wince, and not just because no one would say it in those exact words.

I suppose it helps in this instance that it's not remotely taking itself seriously, which in itself is interesting as a further bastardisation of "March Of The Gladiators" being turned into a silly romp by popular culture. But it's a silly romp I've always loved ever since it was moderately remixed into a Lemmings game in the '90s.

This track does wear out its welcome a bit, but the first time I heard it, I was just having a whale of a time. I also got a spot of amusement through learning that it was a top 50 hit here?? Unbelieveable.
