All time classic by ms. Day. She topped the UK Charts August 1956. Song was featured in brilliant Hitchcock movie 'The man who knew too much', in which Doris played the female lead. Song plays also an important role, all through the movie. Nice and jolly 1950s song.

Etwas wenig Reviews für einen der bekanntesten Songs der letzten 50 Jahre. Ein perfekte Schunkel-Schnulze, die wie kaum eine andere das Prädikat "Evergreen" verdient hat. Läuft das Lied, fangen sofort alle Menschen an zu singen. Einfach toll!

Darf ich oder darf ich nicht? Nämlich einen "Klassiker" abgrundtief schlecht finden? Wie dem sei: dieser Schunkel-Mitgröl-Walzer ist für mich eines der furchtbarsten Lieder ever - egal in welcher Version. Nicht einmal die Stimme kann hier noch was retten: 1,49* (abgerundet auf die Tiefstwertung!)

Das ist einer der schönsten Evergreens aus den 50igern. Das Original kam im Jan 57 sogar in die deutschen Charts u. stieg immerhin bis # 2. ……und einen OSCAR für den besten Filmsong des Jahres 1956 hat er übrigens auch noch gewonnen !!!
